Susan McVey, MS, CRNP-Family, BC

Susan graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in May 1990 with her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. With the encouragement of her patients and colleagues, she decided to pursue additional education in order to expand her ability to care for families in Maryland. Following six years of hospital, community, and home health experience, she enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Delaware. Susan graduated with a Master's Degree in Nursing and became Board Certified as a Family NP through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 1999. Since January 1999, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a variety of settings and specialties, which has provided diverse experiential knowledge to address the many healthcare concerns of her patients. She supports the families in choosing what is right for them. By partnering with families, Susan is able to suggest traditional Western medicine options, as well as alternative and complementary options.
